Washington Private Investigator

ICS Inc. Private Investigations In Washington

ICS of Washington, a part of ICS Inc., is a full service, licensed Washington private investigation agency. We accept most case types across the entire state, and conduct our investigations in a timely and accurate manner. As a licensed Washington private investigations agency, ICS is able to provide superior, confidential private investigations to Washington residents. Contact ICS of Washington day or night by calling our Toll Free number at (800) 828-9198, or submit our online free consultation form to begin your conversation with an ICS Case Analyst.

Adultery, Infidelity or Cheating Spouse Investigations

Being the victim of infidelity is never easy, and you deserve to know the truth if your partner is cheating. ICS of Washington can gather the evidence you need to move forward with your case should you decide to confront your partner or move forward with a divorce. If you suspect your partner of cheating, you need to know the common signs of a cheater, which are excessive or secretive computer use, hiding of cell phone and personal finances, working uncharacteristically late or going on business trips at the last minute, a lack of or a sudden increase in sexual appetite, being diagnosed with an STD, abnormal activity on the home phone, or claiming that a wedding ring has been lost or stolen. If your partner is engaging in these or other suspect activities, contact ICS of Washington to begin your investigation today. When filing for divorce in Washington, keep in mind that Washington is a community property state. This means that all money earned (excluding gifts and inheritances) between the date of marriage and the date of separation is community property, belonging to both the husband and wife. If a Private Investigator finds out that your cheating spouse was spending money on their lover, paying their rent, or giving them cash or paying of their bills, you are entitled to reimbursement of those funds under Washington law. ICS can provide the necessary proof to ensure you get back the money your spouse wasted during your marriage.

Child Custody, Visitation and Support Investigations In child custody cases, the primary concern for all parties involved is to protect the welfare of the child. If you and your spouse are unable to agree on custody, a judge will make a custody ruling after both parents have met with a mediator from Family Court Services. If you suspect that your parenting plan is not being honored, a private investigator can find the evidence you need to present your case to a judge. Both parents are considered equally in child custody investigations, but currently the majority of cases result in full custody being given to the mother. Private investigators from ICS of Washington can also help with “deadbeat dad” or deadbeat mom” cases, so call ICS if you are not receiving your child support payments.

Missing Person and Locate Person Investigations

It can be difficult to know whom to turn to when you need to find a missing person in Washington. Depending on how someone went missing, the police may or may not be able to help. ICS of Washington is able to work with a broader scope of missing person and locate person cases because our private investigators are not bound by the jurisdictional restrictions and criminal guidelines that police and the FBI must obey when they decide which cases to investigate. ICS of Washington accepts missing persons cases in Washington, even if no crime has been committed, and even if the police have already conducted an investigation. You should know that if your child has run away, the police may not investigate the case; in the state of Washington it is not illegal for children to run away, and thus no crime has been committed. If your child has run away, time can be crucial to the investigation. Turn to the licensed private investigators you can trust at ICS of Washington when you need to find a runaway, or reconnect with a friend or family member with whom you have lost contact. If you have an unsolved missing person case, or need to locate a lost person in Washington, ICS can help.

Washington Background Checks

If you need a background check performed on an individual living in Washington, or if you live in Washington and need a background check performed out of state, ICS can help. Background checks are one the most common and well known tools a Washington private investigator can provide. Often, a background check is the only information a client needs. In cases where a more in-depth investigation is called for, the background check is a great starting point, providing the investigator and client with valuable leads to pursue. If you need a Washington background check, or if you have a case involving one, ICS of Washington is ready to work for you to provide the discreet and confidential service you need in a delicate and professional manner. ICS has been helping people in Washington just like you get results since 1967.

Computer and Cellular Forensics and TSCM

In an increasingly technological world, it has become more difficult to keep your personal information safe, and you need to know who has been accessing your personal electronic devices. It is also important to know who might be using hidden devices, like bugs, audio recorders, and hidden video cameras, to invade your privacy. By using a combination of computer and cellular forensics, with Technical Surveillance Countermeasures (TSCM), ICS can retrieve and analyze data to make sure your information is safe and your privacy has not been compromised. Computer and cellular forensics usually includes data extraction from a variety of electronic storage devices, including computers, network servers, external storage drives, flash drives, digital cameras, smart phones such as the iPhone or Android phones, tablet devices, and more. All data retrieval methods used by ICS are admissible in court, and can include recovering emails, instant messages, and text messages, spyware detection and removal, pornography detection, email tracing, computer and network intrusion detection and prevention, Internet history evaluation, and hidden files detection. TSCM includes all steps taken to detect and prevent unwanted surveillance, such as eavesdropping, bugging a house, tapping a phone line, or installing hidden cameras, with the intention of committing corporate espionage, privacy invasion, extortion, identity theft, information theft, or stalking. ICS can sweep for bugs, perform a physical and electronic inspection of the area to check for infrared, laser, audio recording, hidden cameras, wireless microphones, radio transmitters, phone taps, GPS tracking, and cell phone interceptors.

Private Investigator Licensing in Washington

In Washington, all private investigators must be licensed through the Department of Licensing (DOL), Public Protection Unit. In order to obtain their license, private investigators must pass Washington’s rigorous licensing requirements, including an in-depth background check, including fingerprinting. Applicants must also complete 3 years of paid investigative work prior to qualifying for licensure. Washington applicants have the option of being licensed as an individual, partnership, or corporation, and individuals may be licensed either as armed or unarmed investigators. Many private investigators in Washington come from military or police backgrounds, though there are alternate forms of experience that are equally desirable. ICS of Washington strictly adheres to all federal, state, and local laws, so rest assured that any ICS private investigator assigned to your case will be an authorized subcontractor who is fully licensed, insured, and up to date with all continuing education requirements. ICS Inc. is a licensed Washington private investigation firm. At ICS, our Washington private investigators meet or exceed all industry standards, providing you with effective and discreet investigative services.
